What’s New – November, 2013
NAME had a very busy month this month with our 18th annual International Marriage Conference. For the first time, we live web streamed the night sessions and we have mp3s of the conference and the workshops available on www.mymarriagestore.com. (CDs & DVDs are also available by calling the office at 602-404-2600). We also want to report that this was the LARGEST attendance in ten years! It was such an exciting time of much restoration and rejuvenation! The testimonies keep coming in! After the conference, we have spent a lot of time analyzing surveys and debriefing, so that we can continue making the conference better. We are already starting to think about the organizational aspects of next year’s conference. Save the date: October 9-11, 2014.
Also, during the conference we released five new audio series, which can now be found on www.mymarriagestore.com. Another great response from IMC was that a lot of churches are now interested in becoming a NAME center! After the conference, we have not only been talking about next year’s conference, but also about a business plan and goals to make for 2014. We are choosing new resources to develop, ways to expand and establish new NAME centers and initiatives to promote growth into new markets. Pray for us in this time and stay tuned for announcements in the near future.
Special mentions: We would like to welcome our new NAME center at Capital Christian Center in Meridian, Idaho and the three new CMS (certified marriage specialists) from Oklahoma, Arizona and California! Also, we are thankful for all of those re-certifying so that they may continue to keep counseling under their local NAME center. In October, we had 25 recertifications in 9 different states. Keep up the good work CMS!
