A ministry archive, carried forward

The covenant was worth keeping.
Now carry it forward.

From the 1990s until it closed in 2026, the National Association of Marriage Enhancement trained ordinary couples as Certified Marriage Specialists and opened more than 200 NAME Centers across six continents. The counseling was free, and it was couple to couple. NAME has closed, and its archive is given away here, free, to the churches, pastors, and counselors called to continue the work.

Downloading is free. It needs an account and a short commitment, a few honest words about how you will use what you take. See how it works.

Three simple steps

How it works

  1. Step 1: Create a free account

Use Google or your email. There is no password, and it takes about a minute.

  2. Step 2: Agree to a short commitment

Read a few honest words and click to agree. It is the honor system, not a contract.

  3. Step 3: Download what you need, or all the documents and photos at once

Take one file at a time, or every document and photo in a single download.

How this archive was checked

These files came from a marriage ministry’s own drives, so nothing was published without being checked first. Every file was screened automatically for personal information: names from NAME’s contact list, email addresses and phone numbers, street addresses, identifying numbers, and anything that reads like a record about a person rather than teaching material. A document was published only when the screening found nothing; when the only things found were contact details or a name, and a second, stricter check judged it public teaching material whose details belong to the ministry, other organizations, or public authors and leaders; or when a person decided it could go. Everything else stayed back.

Photographs were also looked at by an image model, and only those showing no one who could be recognized, no document or screen with personal details, and nothing sensitive were published on the screening alone. A photo whose only finding was that people in it could be recognized, mostly at ministry events and conferences, was published only by a deliberate decision of the people who closed NAME. Photos showing personal details on a document or screen, or anything sensitive, were held back for a person to decide, and so were photos whose hidden details, such as where they were taken, could not be removed.

Audio and video cannot be screened that way, so they were published only from folders a person had checked by listening to samples. Even there, a recording whose file name or folder used words such as “session notes,” “intake,” “confidential,” or “private” was held back for a person to decide. A recording with a name from NAME’s contact list in its own file name, usually the speaker’s, went out on the screening alone only when no words such as counseling, therapy, session, or appointment appeared beside it. Any other recording carrying a listed name, in its file name or its folder, is in the library only because a person read its title and folder and approved it; most were guest speakers and conference sessions.

No check like this catches everything. If you find something that should not be public, use “Report a problem” on its page or write to us, and we will take it down first and talk afterwards.

Built for the person doing the work

A pastor preparing a couple for their wedding. A counselor sitting with a marriage in crisis. A volunteer building a retreat weekend on a Thursday night with no budget and no plan.

If that is you, this is yours. Decades of work, so that you do not have to start from nothing.

Everything is free. There is no billing and no paywall, only a simple, honor-system commitment to use these materials under the same inspiration of the Holy Spirit as they were made.

The library will stay open through the end of 2027. It will not be maintained, updated, or added to after that.

If something in this library would help you, do not wait. Create an account, look through what is here, and take what you need while it is still being offered.
